Public Speaking Course:
Genius Technique - Photographic Memory
Here's a technique that will impress your audience by making you look
like you have a photographic memory. Would you like them to look at you and
be impressed?
Here's a "genius technique" taught in my public speaking
course: Refer to an article in a magazine or passage in a book, but
do it in this clever way.
Pause and look up in the air as if you are thinking about the particular
picture or publication in your mind. Then refer to the article by page
number, left or right-hand page, passage's position on the page, etc.
The audience will think you have a photographic memory and are some
kind of genius.
However, we know that you are just an accomplished presenter well trained
from your public speaking course, who memorized the information, who
practiced the technique, and then delivered it for the benefit of your
audience with that special WOW factor.
